2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum

Blockchain Alliance International followed the work and attended the 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, held on 5 February 2025 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Convened under the theme “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind,” the Forum brought together diplomats, UN entities, civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders to reaffirm the central role of partnerships in advancing the 2030 Agenda and accelerating SDG implementation.

The Forum placed special emphasis on the SDGs that were scheduled for in-depth review at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development – SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Sessions offered space for diverse stakeholders to exchange innovative ideas, share practical experiences, and identify opportunities to strengthen cross-sector and cross-regional collaboration.

Throughout the Forum, discussions underscored the importance of science- and evidence-based solutions, inclusive partnerships, and coordinated action to address persistent challenges in global development. The Forum highlighted forward-looking actions by governments and stakeholders aimed at mobilizing commitments and partnerships that can help bridge inequalities and enhance SDG outcomes.
