BAI Attends Columbia China Prospects Conference 2024

Blockchain Alliance International (BAI) representatives recently attended the Columbia China Prospects Conference (CCPC) 2024, a premier event focused on empowering education in an era of change. Hosted by the Columbia University Chinese Students & Scholars Association, the conference took place on March 31, 2024, at the Low Memorial Library in New York City.

This gathering brought together thought leaders, innovators, and professionals to explore breakthrough discussions in finance, technology, marketing, and biotechnology. The conference featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including keynote speaker Franklin Urteaga, a pioneer in artificial intelligence and misinformation detection. With a distinguished career spanning White House advisory roles, Urteaga shared insights on leveraging AI for innovation and international cooperation. Other notable panelists in the Technology & Innovation track included Dr. Chong Li, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University and Founder & CEO of OORT, a decentralized AI cloud company; Trudi Patrick, Global Product Lead at Google and founder of Divine Dial; and Angel Montesdeoca, global leader of IBM’s AI incubator Hyper Blue and CEO of Conveyor AI. These experts delved into topics such as decentralized computing, AI-powered advertising, code generation, and governance, providing valuable perspectives on the evolving tech landscape.
