NYU Campus Web3 Talks at NYU Stern School of Business
The President of Blockchain Alliance International (BAI), Ambassador Alexandru Cujba, attended the NYU Campus Web3 Talks held at the Stern School of Business of New York University on 7 May 2023.
The seminar, which focused on Web3, the metaverse, and the policy and investment environment of the Web3 and blockchain industry, was jointly organized by the Asian Business Society at NYU Stern and the Stern Technology Association at NYU, in partnership with the Entrepreneurs Association of Yale International Students.
Mr. Jack Kong, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nano Labs, delivered the keynote address on the development of artificial intelligence and Web3. In his remarks, he highlighted the advantages of AI technologies, including AI-generated content (AIGC), and the metaverse, and elaborated on the development of Web3 through the integration of AI and blockchain. Mr. Kong also presented the iPollo platform, outlining its computing capabilities, communication architecture, and technology ecosystem designed to make Web3 applications more accessible.
The keynote was followed by an expert panel that shared perspectives from technology development, venture capital, and academia. Panelists included Mr. Marvin Kong, Chief Scientist at iPollo; Mr. Zhong Shao, Professor of Computer Science at Yale University and Co-Founder of CertiK; Mr. Xi Chen, Associate Professor at the NYU Stern School of Business; and Mr. Keith Chen, Managing Partner of SNZ Capital.
On the margins of the event, Ambassador Cujba continued discussions with Mr. Jack Kong on the prospects for bilateral collaboration between Nano Labs and BAI. Further exchanges with Professor Zhong Shao, Mr. Marvin Kong, and Mr. Sheldon Xia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BitMart, emphasized the importance of partnerships among key stakeholders—including technology companies, investors, academia, and civil society—in advancing responsible and inclusive development within the Web3 ecosystem.
