Save the Date: BAI Co-Organizes UN Side Event 2024

Join Blockchain Alliance International (BAI) and co-hosts Indonesia, Libya, Dominican Republic, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Saint Lucia, UNDP, and ITU for a side-side event at the 9th Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) on May 9, 2024, from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM in Conference Room 11 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Titled “Making AI Possible for All Through Pooling Resources and Regional Collaboration,” this in-person dialogue will explore equitable AI development, bridging digital divides, and fostering regional partnerships to harness AI’s potential for the Sustainable Development Goals while mitigating risks like bias and inequality. The event will gather member states, international organizations, private sectors, NGOs, and academia to discuss resource pooling, solidarity, and real-world AI applications.

As a co-organizer, BAI is proud to facilitate this platform, including inviting Dr. Chong Li, Professor at Columbia University and Founder of OORT, as a special guest via video presentation to share expertise on decentralized AI infrastructure.
