BAI joint event with the Mission of Belarus to the United Nations

Blockchain Alliance International (BAI), in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations, is organizing a side event entitled “The Power of Artificial Intelligence: Threat or Leverage for International Peace and Security?”

BAI Chairman Alexandru Cujba will serve as a keynote speaker alongside Mr. Andrei Dapkiunas, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

Diplomats, United Nations officials, technology experts, and representatives of academia and the private sector are invited to discuss recent developments in information and communication technologies, opportunities and challenges associated with emerging technologies, their impact on international peace and security, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and their role in addressing humanitarian crises and combating terrorism.

The event will take place in Conference Room 5 at United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday, 12 February 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., as announced in the United Nations Journal.
