BAI Chairman attended the T-EDGE Conference in Beijing

On 6–8 December 2019, BAI Chairman Alexandru Cujba traveled to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, to attend the 6th T-EDGE Global Innovation Tech Conference and participate in discussions on blockchain technology and sustainable development.

The T-EDGE Conference is among China’s most influential technology events, bringing together more than 10,000 participants, over 1,000 industry leaders from more than 50 countries, and hundreds of startups and growth companies seeking investment and business opportunities. The 2019 edition attracted technology leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from the United States, Europe, Israel, Japan, and other regions of the world.

Ambassador Cujba participated in a panel discussion dedicated to emerging technologies and sustainable development. During the debate, he highlighted the efforts of the United Nations to promote science, technology, and innovation, and emphasized the importance of close cooperation among governments, international organizations, academia, civil society, and the private sector in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The 6th T-EDGE Global Innovation Tech Conference was held in Beijing’s Daxing District and was jointly organized by TMTPOST Group and the China New Media Development Zone. The three-day event brought together global innovators and business leaders to explore frontier technologies and discuss the future of digital transformation.

The conference focused on the intersection of deep technologies, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and sustainable business development. Participants examined how breakthrough ideas can be transformed into practical solutions capable of addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges.

Among the highlights of the event were high-level dialogues with technology pioneers and business leaders, the annual T-EDGE Awards recognizing outstanding startups and innovators, and a series of discussions on cross-border investment, 5G infrastructure, digital ecosystems, and the future of global technological cooperation.
